Aliza Nisenbaum is an Mexican born artist, living and working in New York. Aliza’s paintings are popluated by her daily life – artists, friends, wo-workers, students, her partner and so forth. Her themes are domesticated social settings, inspired from day to day life…. like a colourful document of days passed. She paints textiles and patterns found in the homes of her subjects often allowing them to overrun the objects they surround, disobeying the rules of perspective.
