Yusk Imai

Yusk Imai is a self taught American born Japanese artist, currently living and working from Berlin. His work resonates hints of cubism, sometimes intricate arrangements of body and pattern like Klimt, sometimes hidden subjects like Rousseau. he has been immensely influenced by Dali, Max Ernst, Miro and so forth. A bit of surrealism woven with contemporary settings with nuances of traditional Japanese ink and print.
